how it works
The solar collectors u begin to rise in temperature. The temperature differential controller SE3 v monitors the difference between the collector and the pool with highly accurate temperature sensors y . When the temperature of the collectors rises more then 6-8 degrees above that of the pool the controller turns the solar pump { on. This creates circulation within the sealed solar circuit z which is made of pre-insulated stainless steel duo-flex pipe containing tyfocor (solar grade anti-freeze) heat transfer fluid. At the same time your pool filtration pump w is automatically switched on to enable the new heat drawn from the solar collectors to be transferred into your pool water by the pool heat exchanger x which we install after your filtration unit. This solar pre-heated pool water then passes through any auxcillery boiler or heating unit where it can be boosted if required. This transfer of heat from the solar circuit to the pool water has the effect of taking the heat out of the collectors u and their temperature drops again. When their temperature has dropped to only 2 degrees above the pool temperature the temperature differential controller SE3 v turns both your solar pump { and your pool filtration pump w off and the whole process starts again. So in essence the system transfers the heat to your pool in many short bursts throughout the day.
